Everyone has those books that they are just dying to get their hot little hands on. Ones that the moment the pre-order comes available you just have to order it. Mine are the Saint Germain books by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, all of Laurell Hamilton's books, the Eve Dallas books by JD Robb and the Highlander books by Karen Marie Moning just to name a few. Ok, this is silly but...I used to feel that way about Amanda Quick.
I know exactly how they're written, the beginning, middle, end...
I can glance at the cover and practically know the entire book from end to end...
They are in no way intellectually challenging.
And yet...they're like potato chips.
Favorite Books/Authors
Yes, those are what I like to call comfort books. They are just what you need to curl up on the couch under a blanket on a cool rainy day. Love those kind of books.
