Conference: 2007 Santa Fe Writers Conference
Where: Hotel St. Francis in downtown Santa Fe.
When: Beginning June 18. Six days of workshops, afternoon talks and free public readings every evening.
Workshops: fiction, creative nonfiction, travel/memoir and poetry.
Workshops: limited to 12 participants.
Faculty and guests include Kate Braverman, Stephanie Elizondo Griest, Allison Hedge Coke, Page Lambert, Lindsay Ahl, Donald Levering, Carol Franco, Barbara Mayfield and publishers of the New Mexico Book Association.
Conference director is Jenice Gharib director of the Southwest Literary Center of Recursos de Santa Fe.
Fees: $525; includes workshops, afternoon talks, private conferences and evening readings.
Admission to the afternoon talks is $7 for non-conference participants. Evening readings are free and open to the public.
