Review:

When cub reporter Sadie went undercover as a Prostie Palace "prostie," a "tank grown" cybernetic prostitute with a manufactured simplistic brain, she was planning to do an expose on the inhumane treatment of these synthesized cybernetic organisms who had short, miserable lives of sexual servitude. Was it her fault she'd had to finance this assignment out of her own pocket and been forced to get her "Overlook Me" chip from Big Bob's Bargain Basement Chips? Was it her fault the flawed chip happened to run out of steam just as two of the cleanest ring miners she'd ever seen decided they both wanted to pick her as their flavor of the year-to share? It was quite a dilemma for a girl from the strait-laced community of Goshen. It's amazing the amount of trouble a gold mesh dress and scarlet wig can get a gal into.

Except that these particular gorgeous guys weren't sex-starved ring miners. They were sex and love-starved Detective Sergeants David Blakely and Christian Holtstein, also undercover. Unlike Sadie, they weren't reporters; they were a special unit of Old Earth Vice looking for evidence of black market mind-rapes-real brains illegally harvested from murdered female and male space colonists and then installed in female prosties. Furthermore, their teamwork had been enhanced by a revolutionary T link that allowed their minds to join. Now the T Link-there's the rub: it's the chip implanted in both of them that made them share not just their thoughts, but their desires and their very destinies. Talk about your male bonding.

Their T link had been a beta version though, and had unforeseen and unique characteristics. Such as requiring them to find a sexual partner they could share. The problem was that most women couldn't handle either the mental or the physical effects of the T link. Professor Klinefelder who had installed their "Tandem" chips had said that there was a million to one chance that they would one day find a woman who would complete their T link, withstand the sexual overload and be willing to form a Life-bond with them both. So when repressed little cub reporter Sadie ended up between them-just a little necking to make it look like the "prostie" had spent thirty minutes with two sex-starved minors-she felt something electric: as if she were a conduit between the two men. She had no idea what she was getting into, getting between these guys. The drawback, as Hold said, was that ". . . if you take one of us you have to take both" and Blakely explained (finally) they needed a third person to complete the circuit, to fulfill the T link's full potential. Just imagine if the only way to save your life was to have hot sex with two of the sexiest guys in the universe.

If you're interested in a menage a trois story with a twist, this is it. This is an engaging Dukes of Hazard style Science Fiction high adventure, with a cooler than Bo and Luke duo zipping around an alien universe in a floating guy pad complete with the ultimate make-out couch. This is a couple of seriously lonely guys who have found the one they both want to make them complete, and do they have a time convincing poor, tempted, strait-laced naive Miss Sadie reporter Lady that she's the only one for them. And does their combined affection ever pack some surprising kicks! Not to mention, the search for the black market brains, the murderous Iapetion daemon and . . . well, this one is worth reading for yourself. Fun and hot too, with a double dose of cayenne pepper.
