Review:

A couple years back I was given the opportunity to read Kathryn Meyer Griffith’s Abigail Sutton mysteries Scraps of Paper and All Things Slip Away. If you like cozy mysteries, these are a must-read. She is one of those authors that makes you think about situations her characters are in and how you would react to those situations. So when I was contacted about reviewing some of her newer titles, I jumped at the chance.

Ms. Griffith weaves a simple tale of long abiding love in In This House. These twelve little pages are full of all the elements that make a story truly great…love, sorrow and hope. And while this isn’t very long {you can read it in about twenty minutes} your heart will be touched by the love that surrounds Bernard and Althea. You feel the sorrow of realizing that all you have known and loved has faded away. You experience the hope of a new love being born.

If you get the chance you must read In This House. If not, make the chance. You won‘t regret it. Ms. Griffith is not only an author she is a story weaver in that I found that my emotions were woven so tightly into Bernard and Althea’s dreams and wishes that I found myself crying at the end. This is one of those stories that you want to tell all your friends about because you can’t help but share what a wonderful tale of true love In This House is.
