Book 2 of the Eyes Of Light
How delightful it is to come across a book that seems to hold hidden treasure. As a reader of many books, I often find the usual formula and conclusion. Being a writer myself, I fully understand the challenges in undertaking an idea and bringing it to fruition. It is not easy and is a labor of love and hate and passion. With the Eyes of Light series, I have found in myself, the reader again.
Not since Foundation Trilogy by Issac Asimov has another book come up with such a scope of ideas. Far Come The Eyes Of Light continues where book one left off. It also brings in a whole slew of characters as well. One thing the reader will find in these pages is humor. A rare thing and not the usual sex/bathroom humor either but humor that takes work to produce.
The humor is written in with dramatic actions against the Multi Galactic Enemy. An entity that once was small has grown out of control and is eating solar system after solar system, and eventually eats the galaxy. It is also quite old and has grown quite large. To simply nuke or bomb away this problem would create greater problems.
Someone with the ability to understand minds vastly different than their own must go within the entity, and seek to understand it and find weaknesses to stop it. Of course, this has to be done without attracting the attention of a creature so large, and the only person able to complete this task is a bumbling embarrassment to his family, Broswell. Only Broswell has, thanks to the great Cats, developed in areas no human ever has before. Can a clumsy but well-intentioned person, handle the thoughts of the greatest menace to ever face the known area of Multi Galaxy Space?
You will find yourself reading this, smiling, chewing your lips or nails, and wondering just where this trail will lead. You will also find some trails ended and suddenly a new one opens up. I will not mention the characters names here, simply because there is no one main character that has a name. Instead it is a theme that is the main drive. You will need to read the story however, to meet this one.
