Review:

I was so in the mood for something different than the normal, boy meets girl; girl teases boy; boy makes wild, crazy, passionate love to girl. Oh, I still wanted the wild, crazy and passionate love part, but I wanted a different sort of main character, one that was a little more believable.

What I discovered was Terri Pray's Curvaceous Heart, a wonderful erotic piece with a full-figured female heroine and a man who wants her just the way she is. This story is such a breath of fresh air, a delight to read.

When we first meet Sue Night, she's contemplating yet another diet. She knows this one won't work any better than the others, but she has to do something. That idiot Bill at work has insulted her for the last time. But why should she change herself for someone as stupid as him? She's pretty, smart and sexy – if anyone would stop to notice her.

Why isn't there a man out there that wants a woman who is shaped like a woman instead of a stick? It can't be comfortable making love with one of those rail fence posts anyway. Why have flat chests and sharp bones, when you can have luscious breasts and soft hips? Someplace, somewhere there has to be a man like that. But how do you find him?

Alan Martin is tired of dealing with the floozies his father sends his way, like Victoria Shelby. The last thing he needs is a woman his father set him up with trying to seduce him in his office like she did today. There's someone out there spilling company secrets and he has to find the person before any real damage is done.

Dropping his pants behind his desk certainly isn't going to help him find the culprit, not that he wants to have anything to do with Victoria anyway since her appearance is such a turnoff. She's as thin as they come and looks as if she'll snap in two if the love play gets hot and heavy like he prefers. No--definitely not the woman for him.

And while he's hunting for the snitch, maybe he can find himself a real woman, full-bodied and full of life. There has to be a pretty girl out there somewhere who is both spunky and chunky! What is it with guys who like their girls the size of a soda straw? What do they hold on to when the playtime really gets going? Who knows, but maybe, just maybe he'll get lucky and find the snitch and the girl.

Ah, two people looking for each other and they don't even know it. But they do come together in the pages of Curvaceous Heart. And there is a little mystery thrown in as the couple try to find out who is leaking the secrets from the company. Just a nice added touch.

This is a warning that Curvaceous Heart contains BDSM. It isn't as strong as I've seen, but if you are a true vanilla fan, this one may not be for you. If it helps you decide, all of the action takes place between a devoted and loving couple so there isn't club action or any of that kind of thing. But as always it is up to the reader to decide if this is a book for you.

The best part by far of this story is watching Sue discover her confidence in the presence of a man who likes her just the way she is. That makes Curvaceous Heart a positive read and one well worth your time.
