Charlie Huston is a California-born author of a morally ambiguous crime fiction of a genre he himself calls "pulp." His work includes the Hank Thompson trilogy, and the Joe Pitt series as well as a number of stand-alone novels and comic books. He is called by Stephen King "one of the most remarkable prose stylists to emerge from the noir tradition in this century."
