Bill Hatfield moved to Gainesville, Florida in 1979 with a contract playing piano and singing classic rock at three restaurants/clubs. Since closing his bookstore Novel Ideas 1997, he has worked as a manager in bookstores, and moonlights as a musician. Bill writes as William Hatfield, and has two science fiction novels, Captive Audience, and the sequel, Duel Roles , published and in print, and is also about half way through a contemporary novel based in Key West, Menu For Murder . Key West is the perfect setting for the quirky characters I love to create and write about.
