Jewel Adams was born and raised in the projects of Asheville, North Carolina. Her hard childhood spurred her imagination and fueled her love for writing. She began to develop her writing in junior high school. Originally she wrote mostly poetry. When she is not home schooling her children, fulfilling her church callings, or writing, she loves to read. Her favorite books are romance novels. She frequently speaks at youth and adult firesides. She has a great love for youth, and because of her own painful childhood, is always anxiously engaged in helping them to understand how marvelous their spirits are and how special they are to our Heavenly Father. Jewel also loves doing signings and meeting new people.
