I resisted setting up a Myspace for a long time, mostly because of the bad image it had from all I'd seen on the news about school children having accounts and parents' fears regarding questionable interaction by adults. Finally, I gave in and set one up after seeing many other authors doing the same and I have to say, traffic to my author website has increased. So perhaps Myspace isn't just for pedophiles any more.
