Dorinda Balchin is the author of two novels ('Heronfield' and 'The Guardians'), with a third novel almost complete. Research is underway for a series of books set during World War 2. Her writing is inspired by her love of history. She was born in the UK at the end of the 1950's, graduated from Warwick University, ran a travel business and guest house/resort in southern India with her husband. Now she is back in the UK and concentrating full time on writing.
