Terry D. J. (David John) Pratchett, English fantasy author, was born on the 28th April 1948 in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. His was educated at High Wycombe Technical High School. He wrote is first story at thirteen years. He published books since 1971, won many awards and became the UK’s bestselling author. He died in March 2015 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
