Review:

Sophie Winchester was a shy, quiet church secretary by day, but at night this brunette could be found hammering away in her spare room writing gory thriller novels. In her small town of Derryville she hid her identity by using a pseudonym. Sophie was afraid if anyone found out who she was and what she wrote they would never understand. How could a sweet innocent woman write about people being murdered with a pick axe?

Chief Daniel Fletcher had settled into the quiet little town, from the big city life. Daniel had had his share of murderers, robbers, and rapists. Now his worst criminal offense was parking tickets. But that was okay with this chief. He was ready for the simple life. He had no desire to chase down murderers or bank robbers. No, now he wanted to buy a house and settle down.

Until a notebook turned up and it seemed someone was out to kill Sophie. Having had his eye on her for weeks, Chief Fletcher was more than willing to play protector for her. He was met with resistance though. Sophie tried to convince him her life was not in danger. Until he uncovered the truth, Chief Fletcher was insistent on protecting this beauty.

Unable to tell Daniel the truth, Sophie let him protect her. In the process she began falling for him. But what would he think when he uncovered her deep dark secret? Would Sophie's determination to keep her secret from him send him away from her for good? Would the truth send Daniel fleeing the little town?

THRILL ME is a great book. I couldn't put it down. Ms. Kelly held my interest from the first page. I had to keep reading until I found out what happened to Sophie and Daniel. I really like the premise of the story line and found the characters believable. This is a must read for Romance lovers.
