William is one of the fallen, angels that is, as in listening to Lucifer and being kicked out of Heaven. Now he is stuck on Earth and living a life of regret while attempting to redeem himself. Once you have had Heaven how can anything else compare? He spends his days at the casino tables when he is not out chasing down fellow fallen angels who have gone bad. What happens when he catches them? Well let's just say it is not pretty.

His never-ending life is not at all a bad one even if it is a bit lonely. Now along comes his boss Mika'il with an assignment to stick close to a beautiful woman--no problem right? But getting this close brings a whole new element into the picture, and William feels things for his petite beauty that he knows he should resist. After all, mortals die and then you are alone again. The danger he is supposed to be guarding her from looks to be bigger than any he has faced before, and Abby's life itself is what is at stake.

After reading the first in this series, Celeste (which I adored), I was looking forward to William's tale. I must say it was as good as I anticipated. There are twists and turns throughout this paranormal story that keep you both intrigued in what is happening and guessing as to what is coming next. The characters in this book are all memorable and truly likable. Abby is sassy and smart but wary of men due to a rocky past. William is strong and sexy and aside from the fallen angel thing a pretty normal healthy male. When these two get together, sparks fly making the love scene hot and satisfying. This tale introduces a new angel, Dominic, who will without a doubt reappear in the future with a story of his own to tell . . . mmmm yummy. Tiffany Aaron has delivered once again with a tale of danger and magic and redemption you won't soon forget.
