When a friend introduced me to Rhiannon Neeley's Raven series, I was thinking it would be like all the rest of the paranormal books I have read. I was really surprised. I love reading anything paranormal and love it even more when the story is well written. It doesn't get any better than Colin the Conqueror. Vampires and gorgeous men. Oh my, what a treat.

Heather Green was poised on the edge of madness after her experiences on the ship, the Bloody Hell, when Colin Moore snatched her from that edge. Even though she has the protection of the Raven family and their stronghold, it is Colin who gives her the strength to survive. Now Heather is dealing with the strong attraction she has for Colin.

Colin Moore's life had changed in a big way; he had gone from being just the Raven's lawyer to being a vampire hunter. His life changes even more now that he has found love. Every moment he spends with Heather he knows that she is what he needs to complete his soul. The wait for Heather to heal has been excruciating but now it is time to reveal his feelings.

Heather isn't the only person the Ravens brought back from the Bloody Hell. There is Ramsey, the captain. When Ramsey escapes from Ravencrest, his only thought is revenge and he knows just the vampire to see--Nicholas.

Nicholas and the Ravens have bad blood between them, and it will be a battle to the end of either the Ravens or the vampires. As Heather is drawn into the battle, is her soul strong enough to fight the seduction of the vampires. Will she answer true love's call?

Will Colin be able to save Heather, himself and the other Ravens from the evil that invades Ravencrest? Will Ravencrest finally fall prey to the vampire that started it all?

Colin the Conqueror is the last of the Raven books by Rhiannon Neeley. This book nicely finishes the series. Heather and Colin are great together, his quiet strength and her sexiness. I loved the book. Colin the Conqueror is one sexy, quick paced, intense tale that all lovers of paranormal romance will enjoy, and definitely a must read. This story is tightly plotted, has fast moving action and hot sexy love scenes.
