Erotic fantasy

WyndRaider

Ever wondered what it would be like to be truly swept off your feet? Your eyes meet across a bloody battle scene, birds sing and bell rings letting you know he’s the man, except he’s not really a man, but a creature who lives on blood. Just maybe, it’s not one unnatural creature that speeds up your heart, but two. Oh, there is the issue that you happen to be married to a petty king. Doesn’t sound like your typical love story, but when you’re ready for something different there’s Charlotte Boyett-Campo’s latest novel, WyndRaider.

Fantasy Daze

Is your fantasy life better than your real life? Who hasn’t imagined being queen or a sex symbol? Images of limousines, bowing servants and gorgeous specimens of beefcake anxious to grant your every wish: sounds like the perfect life. The only problem is eventually waking up and finding out you’re not the star of your own erotic fantasy. Instead you’re a working drudge without much more to look forward to than a foamy latte. Sound familiar? It certainly does to Rhiannon, the heroine of Gwen William’s debut novel, Fantasy Daze.

Winter Stallion

It has been almost three years since the last Horsemen book Highland Stallion and it has been a long, long wait. So long that there have been times I have imagined what I would have written for a sequel. I created my own characters and stories but when Winter Stallion was released I grabbed it up. The wait was over. And I was right -- Winter Stallion is a book well worth waiting for and we now have the privilege to revisiting all our old friends from the previous books and discovering a new story set in this creative world.

Prince of the Hollow Hills

Elves, sprites: they are mysterious creatures that exist just out of our sight. No one of rational mind will acknowledge them and those who have the free spirit to do so live on the fringe of our society.

Prince of the Hollow Hills is about two sisters, with radically different points of view when it comes to all things mystical. One is a free spirit name Ivy and a wanderer as true as her name. The other is a realist to the point of fanaticism. Her name is Fern. Ivy wanders all over and covers the land with her music. Fern wishes desperately that her sister would stop being so flaky, get a real job, a real place to live, and raise her baby. Having a sister that is like their parents sets Fern’s teeth on edge.

Crimson Ties

Adults are dressing up more for Halloween than ever before. There is something fun about donning a costume. A normally staid male can be a gigolo, an exotic dancer, or even a werewolf. A woman’s opportunities are endless.

Joanna Eastman, the heroine of Crimson Ties, looks forward to acting out her fantasies at the vampire costume ball. Until now, she had only met fellow partiers on-line. As a scientist for a pharmaceutical firm, Joanna is not a poster child for Vampires R Us. She cloaks her curvaceous body in a lab coat and pulls her luxurious golden brown hair into a ponytail for work. It is after work that she indulges her vampire interests by interacting on-line with others who are into vampire lore. As a scientist, she is into research and has documented sightings of vampires. Despite her data, she doesn’t totally believe. It is more like a delicious game she likes to imagine. The party is perfect for letting her inner vampire vixen out and showing off her body in form-fitting velvet.

Saber-tooth

Jordan Summers, better known for her Atlantean Quest series, continues her spin-off series Phantom Warriors with Saber-tooth. Ms. Summers was one of the first authors I read when I started reading ebooks. So of course being a big fan of her writing, when I heard she had started a new series, I jumped at the chance to get a copy.

When Katy Manfred’s boss sends her to the La Brea Tar Pits to track down a saber-tooth tiger, she thinks it’s just another wild goose chase. Ever since she and Roger, her boss, broke up, it seemed to her that every time there was a wild rumor, she was sent to track it down. Of course, that was her job: tracking down the exotic for the firm Bio-Tech. But the jobs that Roger gave her were more in the way of getting her to quit.

Animal Instincts

Are you ever afraid to be yourself? Everyone wears disguise to an extent. We act a different way at work, than we do at home, alone. We act different around certain people. Moonlight Madison, the heroine of Jaci Burton’s Animal Instincts, certainly knows what it is like to put on a façade when she goes to work. In fact, she dons an entire costume, a dominatrix costume, complete with whip.

Moonlight Madison is an unlikely dominatrix. She looks the part in her black PVC corset with her silver blonde hair pulled back into a high pony tail, but it’s all for the money. Her job at Whipped Cream, BSDM Club, pays the bills for her to attend veterinarian school. It’s not like she’ll do this forever just a little longer will she whip the “naughty boys.” Then when she hangs up the whip, she can find her own playmate, a genuine alpha male who will never begged to be punished.

Roping Savannah

In India, a small sect continues the practice of having more than one husband. This practice traces its roots back to an ancient goddess. Just imagine the benefits of having more than one mate.

Savannah Holden, the heroine of Jory Strong’s Roping Savannah, has secretly fantasized about having two males at once, more than once. Of course, it is only a fantasy; one she will not even share with her best friend, Krista.

Wolf in Cheap Clothing

Ever want to chuck your everyday routine for something completely different? Instead of the usual, boring work clothes, you slink around in flimsy clothing with only a tan to fully cover you? Of course, to go with this new, sexy façade there should be a man—as different from the ordinary as possible. An improbable fantasy. Or is it? In her book, Wolf in Cheap Clothing, Charlene Teglia unveils what happens when Louise Catrell gets a chance to walk on the wild side.

Tournament of Fire

Are you a person who accepts things just as they are or are you someone who has to know the "why" behind everything? A "why" person can't leave things alone, she delves, investigates, even pokes until she finds the answer or the answer finds her. If you're a "why" person, then you can identify with Kegan, the heroine in Toni Meilleur' s newest book, Tournament of Fire.

Tall, outspoken Kegan always has to know the answers behind everything. Her paranormal gift of touching an object and knowing its history helps her to find the answers. It also helps to bring her to knees when former lover, Logan, uses her talents to gauge the value of his latest filched archaeological find. A large, person-sized box with air holes is Logan's most recent discovery. If the size of the object isn’t intimidating enough, her senses are screaming at her to leave, pronto. Unfortunately, those of the criminal bent, which includes Logan and all his minions, don’t understand the subtlety of intuition.

My Virtual Lover

Who is your ideal man? Is he a hunky movie actor? Maybe he’s a well-dressed international businessman. Then again, he might be the soft-spoken computer geek who works in the cubicle next to you. Better yet, maybe your ideal man is a mixture of all three. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to design your ideal man, your perfect lover? Val Anders has that option in Madelaine Grant’s new book, My Virtual Lover . The odd thing is Val doesn’t realize she is designing her perfect male.

Ghostly Menage

Do you believe in ghosts? Drifting little bits of white drapery disappearing around dark corners or odd sounds, even voices where they should be none? Or do you believe in a hunk of burning love type of ghost who assaults your senses and invades your dreams? Kelsie, the protagonist in Ghostly Ménage, doesn’t believe in ghosts in any form--until she visits her Aunt Maud’s house.

For years, old maid Maud has lived alone in an equally old house without complaint. Kelsie’s elderly aunt is convinced that a ghost inhabits her house. A male ghost. The very idea is ludicrous since Aunt Maud hasn’t let anything male into the house for the last forty years. Kelsie, being a kindhearted soul, decides to help. She decides to humor her suddenly eccentric aunt by staying over. She gets more than she ever expected.

Wolf in Shining Armor

Everyone can have a bad day, week, or even a year. Spilled coffee, wrecked car, and a pink slip are the things that make up a terrible week. Bit by a wolf, losing your wealth, having your family lands and hearth stolen plus your fiancé raped makes for a rotten life. Rorik isn’t about to let these things get him down. Oh, no, he has plans, which are in Charlene Teglia’s new book, Wolf in Shining Armor.

The Forge: Discoveries

Sometimes when you read a book, you know exactly what to expect. If it's a good book, then the journey to the predictable end will be worth the trip. On occasion, I like books like that. There are other times, however, when you're complete surprised by a book and get knocked loopier than a monkey on crack.

The Forge: Discoveries, hopefully the first in a series, is one of those surprise books. Having read a few things from Shaunna Wolf previously, I picked up The Forge, expecting a rip-snorting fantasy yarn. What I got was all that and a whole lot more. Wolf manages a neat trick: she weaves two of the hottest sex scenes I've ever read almost seamlessly into the flow of her story.
